He hurries off to investigate.
Kelly comes to the conclusion, “I’ve faffed about long enough –

“can I have your attention, please?” she announces, “Especially you, Ed,” and he looks puzzled.

Angela interrupts proceedings . . . |
At that moment, Angela bursts out of the door of Bethania, and finds herself confronted by a great crowd of people.

. . . and can see no way of escape |
Kelly is furious at having her special moment ruined, and Jim is approaching along the street, shouting that she has taken Huwi. The only way of escape that Angela can see is up the ladder on to the scaffolding which surrounds the chapel.

Neville's mates arrive |
At the holiday cottage, Neville is strumming his guitar, with Britt singing tunelessly, while Catrin and Aaron wish they were somewhere else. Then they hear the sound of motorcycles outside, and Neville announces that the lads are here. Four of his mates have arrived, and he invites them in.

Eifion arrives outside the chapel, as Angela leans over the scaffolding and demands, “How does it feel, Mam? How does it feel to lose the most important thing in your life – and there’s nothing you can do?”

Jim demands that she brings him down now, but Eifion takes action and climbs the ladder;

"I don't want to live without Huwi!" |
she continues, “You tricked me – I thought you’d accepted me back, but no, it was a lie! I don’t want to live without Huwi!”

Eifion approaches Angela |
Eifion is by now quite near to Angela, as she shouts that Eileen and Jim have been able to move on after Courtney; “And perhaps Huwi could help me do the same – but I can’t see him!”

Jim is adamant that she will not see Huwi |
Furiously, Jim exclaims, “Too damn right – after this!” but Eifion urges him to be quiet. He approaches Angela and reminds her that whatever has happened is not Huwi’s fault.
“Give him to me, will you?” he pleads,

but she replies that if she cannot see him, Eileen cannot either, and tries to climb up a ladder to the next level, but stumbles, causing screams of alarm from the onlookers.

Britt is glad to see the new arrivals, but Neville is topping up her can with some vodka.

Next door, Mark reports to the others, who are enjoying the hot tub, that some rough-looking men have arrived, and Britt is dancing with them.
His mother urges him to get back in the tub; “You must be freezing!”

Ricky hopes that Catrin is all right, and they jump to the conclusion that he fancies her. In reply, he demands whether his Gran fancies Iori,

Next to climb the ladder is Hywel, and by now Angela is on the top level of the scaffolding, shouting, “Do you all want a photo?” Hywel tells Mathew to get everyone inside, as a crowd is not helping,
