Eileen looks at her scan photo |
![]() |
"Only four months to go" |
![]() |
"The afternoon shift is awake!" |
![]() |
"I'll only be five minutes, Jim" |
Jim mutters, “Jim Probert, at your service,”
and Eileen, looking rather disorientated, drinks a glass of water.
![]() |
Eileen definitely does not look herself |
In the shop, Britt asks if Cadno is all right,
and Eifion replies that she has gone on the school trip to keep the bus under control.
As Tyler comes in, Colin asks if Eifion is going to treat Cadno and the boys to a holiday. Eifion suddenly wants him to continue serving the customers while he sorts out the delivery;
“Who’s running the shop – you or me? Just do it!” is Eifion’s angry retort.

"Cadno's gone on the school bus trip" |
![]() |
"Are you going to treat them to a holiday?" |
![]() |
"Who's running this shop – you or me?" |
![]() |
Alun is trying to get hold of him |
![]() |
"Another withheld number!" |
![]() |
"I had one, asking if I had a will!" |
![]() |
Eifion is very wound up |
![]() |
The marriage guidance appointment . . . |
![]() |
. . . which he tells Jim about |
Jim is surprised that they are back together again, but Gethin informs him that is what he is aiming for. Jim says, “It’s a shame that Hywel and Sheryl didn’t have a bit of counselling – but there we are, it’s too late for them now.”
Gethin looks puzzled, and Jim explains,
“Sheryl’s kicked Sioned out of the salon flat and moved in. Sioned’s back living with us!”
Gethin looks hopefully up at the salon flat windows.

Gethin looks puzzled |
![]() |
"Sheryl's moved into the salon flat" |
![]() |
He harbours some fresh hope |
![]() |
"You can't wait to get rid of me!" |
![]() |
Then Gethin turns up |
![]() |
"That's why you want me out so soon!" |
![]() |
"I thought you were trying to work things out" |
![]() |
"It's a waste of time!" |
![]() |
"If there's anything I can do" |
![]() |
"You concentrate on Ffion!" |
![]() |
Eifion has a message from Alun |
![]() |
"You can't ignore every phone call" |
![]() |
Iolo intervenes . . . |
![]() |
. . . and tries to drag Tyler away |
![]() |
"We haven't breathed a word" |
![]() |
Alun is hanging around again . . . |
![]() |
. . . and Eifion walks down the alley |
![]() |
"Is it all right with Jim for me to live here?" |
![]() |
"He was a bit off with me this morning" |
![]() |
"Post for you, Sioned" |
![]() |
He has bought a picture frame . . . |
![]() |
. . . and some sleep suits . . . |
![]() |
. . . which Jim finds disturbing |
![]() |
"Eifion is in an awkward position" |
![]() |
"Alun didn't make the story up" |
![]() |
"While you were stalking your husband's ex?" |
![]() |
"He's in total denial" |
![]() |
Alun creeps up behind Eifion |
![]() |
"If you had answered my calls, I wouldn't have come" |
![]() |
"If you hadn't told Iolo and Tyler" |
![]() |
"Well, hello – Alun, isn't t?" |
![]() |
"Go and have an early lunch, Colin" |
![]() |
"Wasn't that Alun, who used to go out with Iolo?" |
![]() |
"Colin will be asking questions now!" |
![]() |
"I want you to leave!" |
![]() |
"I was tempted to keep the watch" |
![]() |
"You can't delete what happened" |
![]() |
"Don't phone me – and don't come here again!" |
![]() |
"He used to know his way round here pretty well" |
![]() |
"Something wasn't quite right" |
![]() |
"Not content just to break up marriages!" |
![]() |
"Throwing Sioned out into the street!" |
![]() |
"Come on, calm down, Jim!" |
![]() |
"You wouldn't have messed around with him!" |
![]() |
He is reminded of his marriage guidance meeting |
![]() |
"You're going to the toilet a lot" |
![]() |
Penrhewl has lost another customer |
![]() |
"Eifion has destroyed our reputation for ever" |
![]() |
"I know it's not easy having Sioned living here" |
![]() |
"As long as she doesn't make a habit of pinching my toast!" |
![]() |
Eileen is not feeling right |
![]() |
Here comes Gethin again |
![]() |
"I don't have any customers – thanks to you!" |
![]() |
"I didn't force you to have an affair" |
![]() |
"Now I could lose Esther" |
![]() |
"We could give her stability – if we were together" |
![]() |
"Not that again!" |
“So why are you and Ffion going for counselling?” she asks,
and is told that he has just realised he still has feelings for Sheryl. “Would you really break Ffion’s heart again?,” she demands, “It looks like you should try harder, then! There’s no way back for us!”
![]() |
"I've just realised i still have feelings for you!" |
![]() |
Alun tells Iolo and Tyler about Eifion |
![]() |
"Something is bound to crack" |
![]() |
"Keep an eye on him for me" |
![]() |
"Look who's coming out of number 7" |
![]() |
Eifion is looking very worried |
![]() |
"Wasn't your ex-boyfriend?" |
![]() |
"As he was in Cwmderi, he called in" |
“Has Alun met anyone else?” Britt enquires, and they tell her not as far as they know.
Eifion is in such a nervous state that he gives Britt the wrong change, arguing that he is still not used to this place.
After correcting it, he hurries out of the back door of the shop,
in a state of total panic.
![]() |
"Come on – I gave you a £20 note!" |
![]() |
He rushes out of the shop again . . . |
![]() |
. . . in a very anguished state |
![]() |
Sheryl looks out into the street . . . |
![]() |
. . . then another client cancels |
![]() |
She closes up the salon |
![]() |
Sioned has an idea to revitalise the business |
![]() |
"I'll do all the design work" |
Eileen has got up to fetch herself a glass of water, as Sioned assures Jim that she can handle all the design work involved. Eileen drops her glass into the sink
and collapses on the floor; Sioned shouts to Jim to phone for ambulance, quickly,
and urges her mother to wake up.
![]() |
Eileen collapses in a heap on the floor |
![]() |
"Wake up, Mam, wake up!" |
