"Can you see it?"

“Can you see it?” Sioned asks DJ, pointing out a picture in the background of a photo,

Gwyneth is reflected in the bottom right-hand corner

which bears a reflection of the person taking the photograph, “You’ve been framed!”

"Why would Gwyneth do this to me?"

“Why would Gwyneth do this to me?” he demands, “What have I ever done to her?” Non says that she is so sorry, at having been tricked like this.

"Why would she want to frame me?"

He goes on, “Why would she want to frame me – and how on earth did she access my laptop?”

Sioned admits that she should have known better than to trust Gwyneth, especially after DJ had been so supportive to her;

"I should have know she was up to something"

“I should have known that she was up to something – I can usually see through her games, but I can’t believe I’ve been so stupid. Non summarises that they know the truth now,

"We know the truth – and she has no idea!"

and Sioned adds, “Exactly – and she has no idea!”

Anita is helping in the charity shop

Anita is helping out in the charity shop, with sorting out some of the donations of clothes;

Kelly is in a very fraught state

Kelly comes in, with the excuse that she cannot concentrate in the café. She explains to Megan the mess she is in; “I need to make a romantic gesture to show Ed I want to live with him – help me, Auntie Anita!”

Debbie looks for children's shoes

Then Debbie comes in, looking for some shoes that that would fit Nicky; Anita goes to collect some more clothes, but Kelly protests that she has not helped her with her Ed problem.

"I have an interview at Awyr Iach next week"

Debbie tells Megan that she has an interview at Awyr Iach next week,

Debbie detects a money-making opportunity

then she notices a dress which has just come in and has not yet been priced.
Megan suggests £5, and Debbie pays her £10 for that and a pair of shoes.

Angharad turns up uninvited at Llwyncelyn

At Llwyncelyn, Gaynor is disturbed to see Angharad walking into her house,

"You have a wonderful garden!"

and rather extravagantly describing how wonderful the garden is; she says she fancied going for a jog after work.

"Sorry, I'm going to the gym with Elgan"

Fortunately, Gaynor has an excuse; she is meeting Elgan at the gym straight after school.

She says that Angharad can find someone else to go running with her, possibly Britt, but she is too slow for Angharad’s liking.

Gaynor is anxious to go, but is delayed by Angharad,

"You've created a cosy room here"

who says, “You’ve created a nice cosy room here, haven’t you?

"I can imagine you and Elgan on the sofa"

“I can imagine you and Elgan on the sofa with a glass of wine,”

"I must go, or I shall be late"

but Gaynor says that she is going to be late.

As Angharad leaves, she suggests she could bring a bottle of wine one evening. Gaynor is more than pleased to see the back of her.

"The right thing to do is to take it to the police"

Closing the laptop, DJ enquires, “Right, are we agreed? The right thing to do is take this laptop to the police.”

"I don't want to rush into anything"

Sioned wonders if they have enough evidence, but DJ insists, “You can clearly see Gwyneth in that picture.” Sioned does not want to rush into anything,

"Once we have been to the police, we can move on"

but Non points out that once they have been to the police, they can then move on.

Sioned urges them to stop;

"I don't know if I want to find out"

“I’m not going to the police – you don’t understand – something happened to me that night, and now I don’t know if I want to find out.”

Debbie takes the shoes from her bag

In the Deri, Debbie presents the pair of shoes to Vicky, but she replies they are the wrong size; “He needs shoes that fit him properly,” so her mother will buy him a posh pair online with Kelly’s rent money.
Mark objects to this, saying that money is going on the electricity bill. Debbie just wants to forget money and enjoy themselves,

"Look – 'new with tags'!"

but then she shows him what she has bought at Maenan for £5; it still carries the original price tag of £50, so she intends to sell it online for a profit.

"That's not fair on Maenan!"

Mark says that making a profit is not fair on the Maenan Appeal; Debbie replies, “It’s not my fault Megan doesn’t know how much they’re worth,” then goes to the bar to order lasagne and chips.

Gaynor arrives late at the gym . . .

At the gym, Elgan has been pedalling the exercise bike for some time when Gaynor arrives; he tells her that she has a lot of catching up to do.

. . . and then has an unpleasant surprise . . .

Shortly thereafter Gaynor is shocked to see Angharad,

. . . when Angharad appears there

who has decided not to go running after all.

Elgan urges Gaynor to try and get on with her;

"Plenty of other people she can be friends with"

Gaynor snarls in reply, “There are plenty of other people she can be friends with. I’ll try to be nice to her, but I’m not making any promises! There’s something strange about her.”

As soon as Gaynor's back is turned . . .

As soon as Gaynor vacates the exercise bike, Angharad challenges Elgan to a race; “What shall we say – 10 miles?”

Sioned walks alone in the garden at Bryntirion;

"Sioned!"

DJ comes to find her.

"I don't want you to make the decision for me"

“I don’t want you to make the decision for me, like Vicky did,” she tells him, “I’m no closer to knowing what happened to me that night – or what Gwyneth did to me – but I was naked in the bed.

"The thought of her undressing me makes me sick!"

“The thought of her, undressing me then taking photos of me makes me sick! Then she pretended to support me through the ordeal – she is sick! What if she touched me?

"Nothing would surprise me about her any more!"

“Nothing would surprise me about her any more!

Kelly considers the possibilities for the romantic meal

In Apêl Maenan, Kelly is considering making a fish pie for Ed, or perhaps taking him to Tapas for a romantic meal, but it is not private in there. Anita urges her to be quiet.

Debbie is back for more good earners

Meanwhile, Debbie has been looking through some more items, and wants to know how much this job lot will be, as they have not been priced yet. She also wants a refund on the shoes, as they are the wrong size.

Megan tells her that the shop’s policy is not to give refunds, but Debbie protests that money does not grow on trees.

"All right, £20 for the lot"

Megan agrees a compromise – £20 for the lot, as she has brought back the shoes. As Debbie hurries away, Megan feels sorry for her,

"They were worth a lot more than £20"

but Anita is suspicious.

"And now the delivery has arrived a day early!"

Kelly receives a message that the café delivery scheduled for tomorrow has arrived today, so is told by Anita she should go and deal with it; “You can’t hide in here all day!

"You can't hide from Ed for ever!"

“And you can’t hide from Ed for ever either – just tell him how you feel!” Anita adds, to Megan, “You need the patience of a saint with her sometimes.”

"Sorry for putting pressure on you"

DJ is sorry for putting pressure on Sioned to go to the police, and does not want her to do anything with which she is uncomfortable.

"I'm not sure if I'm ready yet"

She stresses that she has got to find out what happened, and what Gwyneth did, but she is not sure if she is ready yet.

"Don't let Gwyneth get away with it"

Non is concerned that Sioned is going to let Gwyneth get away with it, but Sioned assures her, “She is going to be punished – I just haven’t decided how yet.

"She'll regret doing this to us!"

“She’ll regret doing this to us!”

Angharad shows her cycling prowess

At the gym, Angharad has apparently just beaten Elgan to the 10 mile mark, which does not impress Gaynor. “I beat him easily!” Angharad boasts to Gaynor, “To show there’s no hard feelings, I’ll buy you both a drink later.”

"Sorry, I've got to go back to the surgery . . ."

Elgan replies that he has to go back to the surgery,

". . . but Gaynor would love to go with you"

but is sure Gaynor would love to go with her.

Debbie prepares photos of her sales items

Debbie takes photos of her purchases to put online, while Mark still thinks it is unfair to take advantage of a charity. “I can’t afford a guilty conscience,” she replies.

Vicky has a phone call

Vicky has a call from the call centre company, to inform her they could offer her another job;

"But it's in Manchester!"

“But it’s in Manchester!”

"They can't expect you to move there!"

Debbie argues that she cannot be expected to move up there. “They’re offering the original applicants a job in Manchester, and I don’t know what to do,’ Vicky goes on, but Debbie tells her they can stuff the job.

"It could be exciting"

Vicky predicts that it could be exciting – new start, new place, but her mother is quite adamant that she is not going anywhere, as this is her home.

"I needs time to process it . . ."

“I just need time to process it, before deciding on the next step,” Sioned explains to them, but Non still considers the police to be the best option, and she is worried about both of them.

". . . and Gwyneth is away for a few days"

Sioned concludes, “Gwyneth is away in Scotland for a few days, so that will give me enough time.

"I promise I'll clear your name!"

“I promise that I will clear your name, whatever happens!”

"I hope it won't take too long"

and DJ hopes it will not take too long to do that. He trusts Sioned to do the right thing, and will be glad when this nightmare is over.

"Shame he had to go back to work"

In the Deri, Angharad says that it is such a shame that Elgan had to go back to work.

"Why does losing weight have to be so hard?"

“Why does losing weight have to be so hard?” she complains, “I know it’s getting more and more difficult for us to control our hips.

"What I wouldn't do to go back to my student days!"

“What I wouldn’t do to go back my student days! Going out boozing all the time, and not putting on an ounce.”

"You were a bit bigger in college"

Gaynor answers, “From what I remember, you were a bit bigger in college – Colin didn’t recognise you last week!”

"You and I were not very close, were we?"

“You and I were not very close, were we?” she goes on, so Angharad changes the subject to enquire why she and Colin split up. She comments that all matters is that Gaynor and Elgan are happy together; “You were lucky to find him.

"I've never been happier!"

“Gaynor replies that they were both lucky to find each other, and she has never been happier.

Debbie is preparing her next business venture

Debbie is busy on her phone, signing up to an online shopping website; Megan comes visiting,

Megan brings another pair of shoes . . .

bringing a pair of shoes which came into the shop today, and she hopes that they will fit Nicky.

. . . which look like new, for nothing

“They look like new – how much do you want for them?” Megan says she can have them for nothing, as she is such a good customer,

"Thank you, Megan"

and wishes her the best of luck for her interview.

Mark reproves Debbie

Mark tells Debbie, “Look, I know money is tight for us at the moment,

"Stop this selling clothes!"

“but promise me you’ll stop this business of selling clothes – you can’t take advantage of Megan like that – and I’ve got a good feeling about this interview, too. Sara would be a fool not to give you the job.”
