"The post has arrived, Eileen"
At Penrhewl, Eileen receives in the post some new labels for her home-made jam;  “I’m hoping that this will show people that things have changed since Cadno and Eifion were here,” she tells Jim,
“I’ve asked Sioned to come over and help me stick them on.”
"I was talking to her this morning'
Jim thought that Sioned had gone AWOL, but Eileen was speaking to her this morning, and maintains that it is time they sorted out their differences.   “I think she feels it is time to start building bridges,” but he is very sceptical.
"I think she's coming round to the idea"
“I think she’s coming round to the idea of having a brother or sister,” Eileen suggests, but Jim reminds her that she made some vile comments about their baby the other day.   However, she is determined not to turn her back on Sioned again.
Meanwhile, Sioned is in the Deri with DJ’s laptop;
"Where on earth have you been?"
DJ finds her there and demands where on earth she has been;  “I was afraid you’d gone after Gwyneth to Scotland – why didn’t you answer your phone?”
"My phone broke"
She replies that it broke, but she has a new one now.
DJ is once more insisting that the photos have to go to the police, but Sioned tells him that now Gwyneth is back,
"I shall record the conversation"
she will show her the photos and record the conversation, as they need more evidence;  “A recorded confession, so she can’t deny it.”
"I should be there – in case of trouble"
DJ is not hopeful of Gwyneth confessing to anything, and is insistent that he should be there, in the event of any trouble.
"I shall be late at Penrhewl"
Sioned says that she is on her way to Penrhewl, and is already late.
Lunchtime at Bryntirion
Jason has had lunch with Dai and Diane at Bryntirion, and is about to return to APD
"Look around the village for that man!"
when Diane has a quiet word with him to have a look around the village for that man, the barman from Swansea.
"I'm worried sick!"
“I’m worried sick!” but Jason assures her that no-one has seen him for a few days, and it is now safe for her to come back to work.
"He'll have a tantrum, and then he'll be fine"
He advises her to tell Dai;  “He’ll have a tantrum, and then he’ll be fine.”   Diane knows that he will insist on making a mountain out of a mole-hill – and strangle the bloke.
"You know the VAT needs doing, don't you?"
Dai pipes up, “Diane, you know the VAT needs doing, don’t you?   And you always do the accounts at APD – you never do them at home.   Is everything all right?
"People are missing your pretty face behind the counter"
“You haven’t been in work for days – and people are missing your pretty face behind the counter.   Come in with me now for a few hours –
"We'll be glad to have the Vanishing Lady back"
“Jason and I will be glad to have the Vanishing Lady back where she belongs.”
Bad news from Kelly at the café
Eileen is on the phone, explaining to Kelly that Eifion and Cadno are not involved with Penrhewl Organics any more, but she is not convinced, and does not want Penrhewl meat for the café.
"She's only been in business five minutes!"
“She’s only been in business five minutes!” Eileen snarls.
Jim says that she is trying to impress her customers,
"Oh – is that the time already?"
then Eileen realises she was supposed to pick up Bobi and Arthur from school,
"You'll collect them, won't you?"
and deputises Jim to do it for her,
"I don't want to leave you with Sioned"
but he is reluctant to leave Eileen alone with Sioned.
Diane has been persuaded back to APD
Diane does actually arrive at APD, but is very nervous;
"You should see an optician"
seeing her constantly wearing sunglasses, Dai advises she should see a optician, but she points out that the sun is very strong at this time of year.   “Crikey Moses!   This is Cwmderi, not the Kalahari!” he exclaims, but Jason comments that she looks lovely, and it is very fashionable.
"You're useless, the pair of you!"
Dai moans that the two of them are useless, and goes outside to check the bags of cement.
"He was in here again earlier . . ."
Jason says that the mystery man came in again earlier;  “He is determined to find you –
". . . said it was a financial matter"
“he said it was a financial matter,” and she jumps to the conclusion that it is the tab at the club.
"I can't carry on like this!"
“I can’t carry on like this, constantly looking over my shoulder,” she whines, so Jason tells her to go and find him and settle the debt, but she is afraid that Dai might follow her, and think there is something going on between them.
“Dai is sensible enough to know that no one would fancy . . .” remarks Jason,
"Less of your cheek, boy!"
but stops abruptly, and Diane informs him that when she walks into a room, she can still turn men’s heads.
Dai comes back inside and asks, “What men are they, then?”
The boys are running riot
Jim has returned the boys to their home in the shop flat, but appears to have no control whatsoever over them, as they run round and round the table.   “Come on, sit down and have your tea,” he entreats, but with no success;  he tells Bobi he has to eat his crusts, so he gets curls,
"I don't want curls!"
but is told that the boy does not want curls, and neither does he like Auntie Eileen’s jam.
He helps himself to some crisps
Instead he gets out some packet of crisps;  at the end of his tether, Jim reaches for his phone to call for reinforcements.
"I'm trying to restore Penrhewl's reputation"
Sioned arrives at Penrhewl, and her mother explains she is trying to restore the business’s reputation for the future.
"For the new baby, is it?"
“For the new baby, is it” Sioned demands, and Eileen’s phone rings;  it is Gwyneth, wanting Sioned.
She is told that Sioned has been having trouble with her phone,
Eileen has a call for Sioned
then has a call for Sioned, who hears with surprise that Gwyneth is on her way over.
Then there is a text from Jim which arrives on Eileen’s phone, and she says she will have to go over there,
"Be careful with Gwyneth!"
advising Sioned to be careful with Gwyneth.
Sioned sets her phone to 'sound recorder'
Sioned sets her phone to ‘sound recorder’.
In the Deri, Jason comes in and signals to Diane;
Sara has some time off from the café
Dai is still wondering about her weird behaviour today.   He goes over to the bar for another drink for Diane,
"He was in the High Street earlier"
and Jason reveals that he saw the mystery man in the High Street earlier, but he got into a car and drove away.
"What have you been doing, Mam?"
“What have you been doing, Mam?   Are you sure you haven’t done more then flirt with this bloke?”   She demands why she would want to play around, so Jason asks what this guilty act is all about.
"Some bloke was in here, looking for you, Diane"
Dai returns to the table and says that the barman told him some bloke was in here earlier looking for Diane.
"Who is going to tell me exactly what is going on here?"
“Which of you two is going to tell me exactly what’s going on here?”    Diane sits, open-mouthed.
Sioned's new phone is concealed on the shelf
Sioned hides her phone behind a decorative plate on the shelf;
"What are you going to do with the recording?"
then DJ arrives, and asks her what she will do with the recording, once Gwyneth has confessed.   He insists that he is not leaving Sioned here with her,
"Go upstairs and hide!"
but is urged to go upstairs and hide,
DJ appears to deposit something in the box to his left
as she is just arriving.
"Welcome home, Gwyneth!"
Sioned opens the door and welcomes Gwyneth home;
"How are you?"
but she is more interested in how Sioned is,
"Slowly getting through it"
and the reply is that she is slowly getting through it.
Eileen has restored sanity to the shop flat
Eileen arrives at the shop flat, and Jim complains that the boys would not take any notice of him;
"I didn't want to shout at them"
he did not want to shout at them, and make them think that he is a nasty old man.   Eileen will deal with the boys, and he can do some clearing up.
"How does he know where to look for you?"
Diane has told of her suspicions, and Dai delves further, “How do you think he knows where to come looking for you?   And how much was this tab?”
"It was only a couple of drinks"
Diane underestimates that it was only for a couple of drinks.   “Do you expect me to believe that this bloke has spent days looking for you, because of a couple of drinks?
"I wasn't born yesterday, Diane!"
“I wasn’t born yesterday, Diane!   This bloke is after more than just your money – that’s the trouble with you – a few gin and tonics, and you can’t keep your hands to yourself!”
"Looking after those two is a full-time job!"
“Looking after those two is a full-time job,” says Jim, but he acknowledges they are just mischievous, and he is more tired today that if he had done a full day’s work at Penrhewl.
"I can't remember much about Courtney growing up"
“How will I cope when the baby arrives?   I wasn’t very good with Courtney – but I can’t remember very much about her growing up.”
"We'll appreciate every second this time!"
Eileen stresses that they will have to make sure they appreciate every second this time, now they are getting a second chance.   “If we support each other, we'll make a good team
"I shall have to buy some of this jam!"
At Penrhewl, Gwyneth has been sampling some of Eileen’s jam, and says she will definitely be buying a couple of jars.    Sioned asks if she will take some photos of the jam, for Penrhewl’s website;  “I can’t use my phone, as it is broken.”
Gwyneth hands over the phone . . .
Gwyneth hands over her phone, and Sioned comments that it has a brilliant camera on it;  “You’ve got loads of photos,” she says, and begins looking through them.
. . . but soon grabs it back again
Gwyneth snatches it back, saying that it is personal and she is being too nosy.
“Anyone would think you had something to hide,” Sioned remarks, “If not, why did you snatch it back?”   Gwyneth replies that a phone is private, like a Deri.
"Are these private, too?"
Sioned wonders, “Are these private too?” as she hands over prints she had made of some of the photos.
"Did DJ take these?"
Quite coolly, Gwyneth says that she has never seen them before;  “Did DJ take them?”
“Don’t act innocent – I know the originals are on your phone – that’s why you were panicking just now,” Sioned tells her,
"You took these photos, not DJ!"
pointing out her reflection in the corner of one of the photos, “Don’t try and deny it – you took these photos, not DJ!”
Dai has turned to the bottle . . .
Back home at Bryntirion, Dai demands, “How am I supposed to react when I hear that my wife’s been smooching in a club with some Swansea Jack?”
. . . while Jason tries to calm things
Jason tries to calm the atmosphere, and Diane blames Glenys.   “If nothing happened, why didn’t you tell me when you go home that night?” continues Dai, and she replies that he was snoring like a pig.
"What a Cock and Bull excuse!"
“What a cock and bull excuse!   How many others have you flirted with?   There will be a queue around the house!”   Diane is very upset, saying she could be arrested for this.
"Local councillor arrested for theft and adultery!"
Dai roars, “I can see the headlines in the Western Post – ‘local councillor arrested for theft and adultery’!”   Jason points out that if he is married to a smart woman, like Mam, the boys are going to take a peep at her, but Dai rants, “All I want is the wife I can trust!”
Then there is a knock at the door
Then there is a knock at the door, and Diane looks panic-stricken
"DJ put my photo in there –very clever!"
Gwyneth has been doing some quick thinking, and tells Sioned that it is obvious;  “DJ put my photo in this to frame me – it’s very easy to do – very clever, DJ!”
"I shall find the same photos on your phone!"
Sioned is confident that she will find exactly the same photos on Gwyneth’s phone, and if she hands it over, it will prove matters one way or the other.   “If you didn’t have anything to hide, you would give it to me!”   Gwyneth wants to know exactly what has happened since she has been away, suggesting that DJ has planted poison in her head, but Sioned describes it not as poison, but the truth.
"Hand over the phone!"
She again holds out her hand for the phone,
"Remember who you're dealing with!"
but Gwyneth ominously warns her, “You need to be careful – remember who you’re dealing with.   Or have you forgotten what happened the last time you crossed me?”
The knocking goes on . . .
The knocking on the door at Bryntirion is becoming more insistent, while Dai and Diane shout at each other.
. . . and Dai says he is man enough to defend his wife
Dai is adamant, “Im man enough to defend my wife, even if she has strayed.
The voice outside demands, “Can you open the door, please?”
The visitor is admitted
Jason goes to open it, and Dai promises to give him the Spanish Inquisition, while Diane hides in the kitchen.
"Let's sort out this matter once and for all!"
“Come on in, so we can sort out this matter once and for all!” Dai shouts.
"It's a financial – or legal – matter"
The stranger says he has been looking for Diane Ashurst, and it is about financial matter – or actually a legal matter.
"I want to know why you're trying to get hold of my wife!"
Dai addresses him, “Look here Pharoah!   Before I say anything, I want to know why you’re trying to get hold of my wife!”
Diane is obviously terrified
We see Diane in the background, looking scared stiff.
