"I hope you're moving far from the village" |
She replies that she does not care what people think about her;
“If that’s what you think, you’re more stupid than you look!” and she walks away. Non cannot understand why she is still free,
so DJ tells her to come to the Deri, where he will explain.

"Come to the Deri, and I'll explain" |
Inside the Deri, Josh has another pint, and tells Garry that he will be leaving next week.
When DJ and Non come in, he greets Vicky, but she ignores him. Then he informs Non that they have spoken to a solicitor;
“He said there was no point bringing a case against Gwyneth for trying to frame me. We know what she did was terrible, but the investigation against me was closed,
“so there was no course of justice to pervert. It would be difficult to prove she had any sexual intent – so conviction would be impossible. Sioned is all right with that, because she knows Gwyneth is the culprit.”

"I want to travel with you" |
He answers that he already has company, but she wants to learn more about his chequered life.
He realises that she is serious, and she stresses that she has never been more serious about anything in her life.
“Things aren’t working out here,” she insists, but he argues that she cannot just pack up and go. “You’re just like everyone else – you won’t give me a chance!” she rages,
then, seeing that he is exhausted with all the cleaning, decides to give him a hand.

Sioned has also thought of that, and tells them,
“We’re going to host a produce fair, next week – the sooner the better.” Eileen agrees, as they have a lot of produce to sell, and Sioned adds, “The Summer holidays will have started by then, and local families will want somewhere to come.
“I want to help you!” Her mother stresses that if they do not put this farm back on its feet, neither of them will have a job.

![]() |
"Josh is not the problem – Siôn is!" |
![]() |
"And how do you feel about this?" |
![]() |
"If you want some company while Siôn's away . . ." |
Anita replies, “We don’t live together and I don’t know if he is going away.” Gwyneth is willing to pay,
but Anita makes it quite clear she does not want Gwyneth’s money;
“And I definitely don’t want your company!” so she slinks away again.
