Eifion examines his injuries

Eifion’s bruises are still causing him to wince, and Garry is sleeping in a spare bed at Penrhewl.

"I can't believe you brought him here"

Cadno cannot believe that Eifion brought Garry here; “You should have gone to the hospital – if the police find we are involved,” she begins, but Garry begins to wake,

Garry wants some water

and wants a drink of water. He is still in considerable pain, but Eifion points out that the doctor said he had to drink plenty of water.

"Dani has to think I'm in Newcastle"

“Dani has to think that I’m in Newcastle,” he says, and Eifion assures him that Elgan will be up later to check on the wound.

"We have to do what he asks"

Outside the bedroom, Eifion whispers, “We have to do what he asks, like it or not,” but Cadno walks away in disgust.

Ffion has exotic plans for Sheryl's hen party

At Cysgod y Glyn, Ffion is looking at the laptop, working out where they could go for Sheryl’s hen party, and suggests Palma;

"It's expensive, compared with Tenby"

Gethin points out that it is very expensive, compared with Tenby. She says, “It would be nice to have a weekend away – that’s what all the men do these days.

"Bryn Edwards is going to Las Vegas"

Bryn Edwards Science is going to Las Vegas with his mates.”

"I always end up in the Bull at Llanarthur"

Gethin complains, “Why do I always end up on a stag night in the Bull at Llanarthur?” Ffion suggests Amsterdam – or Barcelona, and he says that she is going to a lot of trouble for Sheryl.

"I want to ask Sheryl to be our bridesmaid"

“To be honest, I want to ask her to be our bridesmaid,” she decides, “What do you think?” Gethin was under the impression she wanted Nesta as her bridesmaid, and asks her if she wants to go to the Deri for a drink tonight. That will be a chance to spend some time together, just the two of them.

Sara is again busy on her self-promotion

Sara is once again extravagantly vlogging, and advises her viewers that next time she will be talking about baby food; Jason is sitting on the stairs in the background, far from happy. “I have some organic recipes, and I thought we could share ideas,” Sara drones on.

"No, that wasn't right – start again!"

She comments that she is not sure about that video, and will probably do it again;

"Shall we go to the Deri tonight?"

Jason suggests that they go to the Deri for a few drinks tonight, and he will ask his mother to babysit.

"I have to give this vlog 100%!"

Sara dismisses this idea as she has to meet Hywel on business. “Don’t be like that, Jason – I have to give this vlog 100%,” she scolds him,

Jason is getting fed up

then starts re-recording that vlog.

"I've made a few notes for the hen party"

Ffion rushes into the salon, asking if Sheryl has a passport; “I’ve made a few notes for the hen party – I’ve been looking at Majorca!”

Sheryl prefers something low-key

Sheryl says she would prefer something more low-key, something local; “There’s no point making a fuss – I’m too old for that! I would just prefer a cwtchy night with some of my best friends. Sorry, Ffion, you’ve gone to so much trouble.”

"I shall have to get Gethin to take me on a city break"

Ffion says that she will have to get Gethin to take her away on a city break somewhere.

"Her big plans have been ruined"

When she has gone, Sheryl is afraid that Ffion will be disappointed that her big plans have been ruined,

"Will you be hiring a stripper?"

and Hywel wonders whether she will be hiring a stripper. She assures him that it will be a sedate night.

"What do you think of this?"

He says he has a surprise for her, and shows her the photo on his phone of a house,

House for sale in Llanarthur"

Glyn Alaw in Llanarthur, which is for sale.

"Look at the price!"

She remarks that it is expensive, but he points out that he has some savings, and has already arranged a viewing.

"Something was not right about Garry's voice"

Dani goes to see Britt, saying that she has a premonition; “Something did not seem right about Garry’s voice.”

"If he said it, that's where he's gone"

Britt replies that if he says he has gone to Newcastle, that is where he has gone. However, Dani instinctively knows that she is right,

"Something dodgy is going on!"

there is something dodgy going on.

Britt angrily advises that she phone Eifion again; “If I was so concerned, I’d go to Penrhewl,” and Dani realises that she is right.

Dan serves them in the Deri

Hywel and Sheryl arrive at the Deri, and find Ffion and Gethin already there.

"Don't mention the house, Hywel"

Sheryl does not want to mention the house they are going to view, but she is looking forward to seeing it.

"Can we join you?"

Gethin comes over, and Hywel suggests that he and Sheryl join them.

"Eifion is not here at the moment"

At Penrhewl, Cadno is picking up various bloodstained dressings from last night when Dani arrives, looking for Eifion. Cadno lies that he is not there,

"I want to talk to him about Garry"

and Dani says she wants to talk to him about Garry.

"He's in Newcastle, isn't he?"

“He’s in Newcastle, isn’t he?” enquires Cadno, trying to look innocent, but Dani is sure that there is a lot more to it than that.

“You wouldn’t like not knowing where Eifion is, would you?” Dani demands, and while Eifion is listening to this conversation from upstairs, Cadno says she regrets she does not know anything; she will ask him to phone when he comes home.

"It's obvious you know something"

“It’s obvious that you know something,” accuses Dani, “You know the meat’s dodgy, don’t you? I just want to know where my daughter’s father is.”

"It's all right – Dani's gone"

Eifion goes to the window and reports to Garry that Dani has left.

"Typical Dani!"

He knew that she would come looking; “Typical Dani!” He also thanks Eifion for looking after him; he will not forget this, but the money has to be sorted out.

"I want you to go back!"

“I want you to go back to the compound.”

"I'm not going near there!"

Eifion flatly refuses to go anywhere near there, and is called a coward by Garry.

"If you don't, I'll make life very difficult for you!"

“I want you to go back there – today – or I’ll make life very difficult for you!” Eifion replies that he will do as Garry says,

Eifion appears to be planning to 'do a runner'

but when he goes out of the room, he looks up at train times on his phone.

Sara has failed to give Jason a message

Jason is looking at the laptop when his phone rings; apparently Sara did not pass on a phone message to him.

"I'd definitely like the work, of course!"

“Yes, I’d definitely like the work, of course – sorry I didn’t phone you back – I’ve only just got back from Australia.”

Then he determines to go out with Ifan;

"We're not too busy to see Mami, are we?"

“Mami might be too busy to see us, but we’re not too busy to see Mami, are we?”

"I just want to know what's going on with Garry!"

Dani reports to Britt that Cadno does not know anything, and Eifion was not there; “I just want to know what’s going on with Garry!

"It's more dodgy dealings, guaranteed!

“I definitely think he’s in trouble – but if he’d been injured, I would know, wouldn’t I, because the hospital would phone? No, it’s more dodgy dealings, guaranteed! Everything I hate.

"I've tried everything!"

“What can I do, Britt? I’ve tried everything!”

Some more blatant self-promotion

In the Deri, Sara is giving the hard sell to Hywel; “Every video gets at least 500 hits – I am an online presence. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a radio show to expand the brand – a phone-in for parents.”

"Not until October"

Hywel is generally in favour, but does not have a slot available until October. She proposes that her programme could replace the gardening one, which cannot get anywhere near that audience.

"Go and sit down, Jason – I'm busy!"

Jason arrives, and Sara tells him to go and sit down; Hywel admits that he is not familiar with her vlog, but will go home and look at a few episodes.

"I thought Sara would never stop talking"

He returns to Sheryl, commenting that he thought Sara would never stop talking.

"Sheryl, would you like to be my bridesmaid?"

Before they ordered their food, Ffion wants to ask something; “Sheryl, would you like to be my bridesmaid?” and is told that she would love to be.

"We'll have so much fun!"

“We’re going to have so much fun, arranging these hen parties,” enthuses Ffion,

and Sheryl tries to sound excited.

Garry shouts for Eifion . . .

Garry calls for Eifion

. . . and is told to quieten down

and is reprimanded by Cadno as anyone could have been downstairs, and the boys are confused. “I thought Eifion was with you – where has he gone? You haven’t sent him back?”

"I need my money back!"

Garry replies that he needs his money back, so she promises, “If anything happens to him, I shall lock that door and let you rot!”

Yes indeed – he has 'done a runner'

Her phone sounds, and she finds a text from Eifion; “I’ve gone away. I have no choice.” Garry is relieved when he hears it is from Eifion,

"At least that means he is all right"

as it means that he is all right. Cadno walks out of the bedroom.

"I told you not to come, Jason"

As they wait for their meal in the Deri, Sara complains, “I told you not to come – I said I had a work meeting.”

"I had a call from Idris Jones"

Jason replies that he had a phone call from Idris Jones earlier; “He said he phoned yesterday, offering me work.” Sara had forgotten all about it, and he goes on, “See – I said you had too much on your plate – you could have cost me a job!”

"Is this what she has been like?"

She is more interested in going to have another word with Hywel. Jason enquires of Ifan, “Is this is what she has been like?”

"You should have changed her mind!"

Sheryl demands if Gethin knew that Ffion was going to ask that, and insists that he should have changed her mind; “I have no right to be a bridesmaid after everything we’ve done. I won’t come over to arrange the hen party for a while – to give you some space.”

Sara bends Hywel's ear again – but where is Jason?

Sara is trying to persuade Hywel to look over her notes for the proposed radio show, but he is in a hurry to return to Sheryl.

She is furious that he has gone

When Sara turns round, she finds that Jason and Ifan have disappeared.

"Oi! Why did you come home?"

Back at number 9, Jason has made himself a real sandwich by the time Sara returns, demanding, “Oi! Why did you come home?

"I was so embarrassed!"

“It was so embarrassing, turning round and you not being there. And I had to pay for the meals! What am I going to have for my dinner?”

He replies that there is plenty of bread, and she can help herself.

"I can't help being a busy woman!"

“Sulking isn’t going to help anyone – I can’t help being a busy woman!” she snarls,

"You could stop this vlog for a start!"

but he replies that there are a lot of things she can do, like stopping this vlog for start, as it has taken over her brain.

"Well, say something . . ."

“If you had a vlog, I wouldn’t dream of asking you to stop doing it!” she rages, “Say something –

". . . instead of stuffing yourself!"

“instead of stuffing yourself!”

He sighs that there is no point because she would not listen anyway;

"Carry on if you want – I don't care!"

“Carry on with this online business if you want – I don’t care! Just don’t expect me to waste my time waiting for you – because I’ve got a life as well!”
