Anita is reminiscing |
![]() |
"It's why you're looking at them that bothers me" |
![]() |
"It must seem strange to you" |
![]() |
"You haven't told him, have you?" |
![]() |
The chippy seems to have a litter problem |

Garry is on the phone . . . |
![]() |
. . . meeting someone at 4:00pm |
Then he meets Hywel,
and wants him to check over his laptop for antivirus and things.
Meanwhile, in the Deri flat, Dani is going through drawers, but is unable to find what she is looking for.
When she hears Garry coming, she quickly sorts through the post instead.
![]() |
"Can you check the antivirus?" |
![]() |
Dani rifles through the drawers |
![]() |
"What are you doing here?" |
He demands what she is doing there,
and insists that if there is any more post for her he will put it through the door at number 7. Before she leaves, he wants her Deri keys back;
“You don’t live here any more – I don’t want you coming up here without me knowing!”
![]() |
"I'll put your post through the door of number 7" |
![]() |
"You don't live here any more!" |

Siôn id doing some weeding . . . |
![]() |
. . . when Wendy appears |
![]() |
"You look rather like a gnome yourself" |
![]() |
"Well, I have been called worse" |
She says that she is Tyler’s and Dani’s mother and understands that he is Iolo’s father.
Then Kelly calls to him, saying that Auntie Anita wants to talk to him, and said it was important. He immediately heads to number 10.
![]() |
"Siôn, Auntie Anita wants to talk to you!" |
![]() |
Dani and Britt keep an eye on Wendy |
![]() |
"Kelly says you want to see me" |
![]() |
"No – everything is fine" |
![]() |
"I want us to be honest with each other" |
She replies that it is nothing like that,
and after some hesitation, tells him, “I’m thinking of having a baby – but not with you – with Meic!”
This astonishes Siôn, but she goes on, “It’s a lot for you to take in . . . Meic froze some of his sperm – it’s not clear why. I only found out a fortnight ago – he put my name on the permission form. “I think he wanted me to use it.”
![]() |
"I'm thinking of having a baby – but not with you!" |
![]() |
Siôn is dumbfounded |
![]() |
"But you're too old, aren't you?" |
![]() |
"I don't expect you to be responsible for the child" |
![]() |
"Well, you have made your mind up" |
![]() |
Sion leaves the house |
![]() |
"I couldn't find his laptop" |
![]() |
"Garry's meeting someone at 4:00pm" |
![]() |
"I shall follow him" |
![]() |
"Hello, Gaynor" |
![]() |
"Right, I'll sort him out!" |
![]() |
Chester is playing a computer game |
![]() |
"Black coffee, please, Kelly" |
![]() |
"I can't find some stuff on my laptop" |
Hywel offers to look for the information for her, but she replies that she has just been a bit negligent,
then asks, “Is that Garry’s laptop? The stuff would be on there –
“would you mind if I had a quick look?”
![]() |
"Is that Garry's laptop?" |
![]() |
"Would you mind if I had a quick look?" |
Hywel is reluctant to allow her, but she pleads,
“All I want to do is take a peep at Carol’s folder,” and he agrees, if she comes round later.
![]() |
"OK, I'll come round later" |
![]() |
Chester is in the same position . . . |
![]() |
. . . but this time his mother is there |
![]() |
"That computer game is rubbish!" |
![]() |
"That's it – get dressed!" |
![]() |
"You're going to school, and that's the end of it!" |
![]() |
A rare view of the garden of Y Felin |
![]() |
Wendy arrives, bearing eclairs |
![]() |
"I'm not very good company at the moment" |
![]() |
"I thought I would get a welcome from you" |
![]() |
"Not a very good impression" |
![]() |
"I know I've been a terrible mother!" |
![]() |
"Here, have my handkerchief" |
She comments that he has a nice garden,
and he explains it will be even nicer when he does some weeding.
Wendy volunteers to help him, and they will have the eclairs as a treat afterwards.
![]() |
"It will be nicer when I do some weeding" |
![]() |
"I'll help you!" |
![]() |
Hywel is not happy about this |
![]() |
Dani settles down for some detective work |
![]() |
"You had no right to interfere!" |
![]() |
"You've made matters worse!" |
![]() |
"You had to tell him!" |
![]() |
Dani has found the e-mail address |
Dani has found the information she was looking for, and writes down the e-mail address ‘spencer@blainleystorage.com’
just in time before Hywel brings the coffee.
She would appreciate it if he did not tell Garry, as things are not too good between them at the moment.
![]() |
"Did you get the information?" |
![]() |
"Don't tell Garry" |
Then there is a knock at the door, and when Dani hears Garry’s voice,
she makes a very rapid exit through the back door, unfortunately leaving her scarf on the sofa. Hywel says he will be another hour with the laptop,
but then Garry notices the scarf.
![]() |
Dani beats a hasty retreat |
![]() |
Garry finds Dani's scarf |
“I’m worried about Dani, to be honest,” Garry says, “Her behaviour has been a bit weird.”
Seeing the scarf, Hywel explains that she was round earlier, wanting him to look at her laptop.
![]() |
"She left that when she called earlier" |
![]() |
Chester is in his bedroom . . . |
![]() |
. . . deleting photographs |
![]() |
What is this red mark on his side? |
![]() |
Siôn pours the wine |
![]() |
"I was not invited to the wedding" |
![]() |
"It's a big deal when your children don't want to see you" |
He insists that he is not judging her, but sympathises, if anything;
he thought that his life was complicated.
“You’re a very kind man,” she tells him, and he can see that she is not all bad.
As he goes upstairs for some reason, Wendy has a look through some drawers,
and finds a couple of banknotes, which go into her pocket.
![]() |
"And I thought my life was complicated" |
![]() |
"You're a very kind man" |
![]() |
She has a quick snoop in the drawers . . . |
![]() |
. . . and comes up with a couple of notes |
![]() |
"Here's the address of Blainley Storage" |
![]() |
"So Garry was on the phone to Spencer Blainley" |
Unfortunately now they have missed Garry’s 4:00pm appointment,
but Dani insists they have to do something.
Britt is more cautious, stressing that they do not want to rush into something they will regret.
![]() |
"We have to do something, Britt!" |
![]() |
"Don't rush into anything" |
![]() |
"Fine – we'll go tomorrow!" |
“OK, fine – we’ll go tomorrow!” decides Dani, “Doing nothing isn’t an option!”
