"Sorry if I gave the wrong impression" |

"Yes. I know, DJ . . ." |
![]() |
". . . but a few months ago, a businessman tried it on . . ." |
Only Jason’s return saved her from whatever his intentions were;
“That’s why things got a bit awkward last night. I know you would never take advantage – I was just being stupid.”
![]() |
". . . just over there" |
DJ assures her that she does not need to apologise,
and that he enjoyed looking after Ifan last night. “You’re going to make a good father one day,” she tells him, but he points out that he has to find a girlfriend first.
“Have you ever thought of online dating?” Sara asks, “I’ll help you write a profile, if you like – and I’ll even keep it clean!”

DJ regards online dating with horror |

The laptop seems to have seized up |
![]() |
Sheryl is eagerly anticipating 'a bit of the other' |
![]() |
Sioned wants Gwyneth to visit her |
![]() |
"Will you have a look at the laptop?" |
![]() |
"It won't do any good, keeping secrets" |
![]() |
Kath does not want to leave these two on their own |
![]() |
"What if you both passed out?" |
![]() |
"At the same time – for no apparent reason?" |
![]() |
Kath welcomes Colin with open arms |
![]() |
"The entertainment has landed!" |
![]() |
Colin's rather 'over the top' charades |
![]() |
Non used to go to Country and Western nights |
![]() |
Then Colin's contortions . . . |
![]() |
. . . cause his back to go again |
![]() |
He is in considerable pain |
![]() |
There is relief when they return from the appointment |
![]() |
"Do you think she remembers everything that's happened?" |
Gethin replies that children get over everything so quickly.
“Not like us old people – I feel like a wet blanket,” Ffion admits, “I don’t know how she had the energy to go to Mirain’s party. It’s a shame we can’t go somewhere next week – it would be lovely, just the three of us.”
![]() |
"Not like us old people!" |
![]() |
"Got some money stashed away, have you?" |
![]() |
"I don't want to make Garry angry" |
![]() |
"Yes, we're fine – things are getting better" |
![]() |
"Here's your share of the money" |
![]() |
"I don't want it – it's Gethin's money!" |
![]() |
"You and Gethin deserve it!" |
![]() |
"If he found out, we wouldn't have a relationship!" |
![]() |
"He'll understand, given time" |
![]() |
Sheryl is a sex-crazed beast . . . |
![]() |
. . . but Gethin is having slight second thoughts |
![]() |
She cannot wait to get up there . . . |
![]() |
"What happens if they find out?" |
She replies that no-one will find out; “We are being careful!”
He is still hesitant, so she kisses him again, and asks if he wants to end it.
He says that he cannot, and they both disappear upstairs.
![]() |
"Do you want to end it, then?" |
![]() |
It seems that he is not all that reluctant |
![]() |
"Why are you so keen to get rid of it?" |
![]() |
"Because half belongs to Gethin" |
“Why are you putting me in this position?” demands Ffion, “It’s not fair!”
Dani protests that she is trying to be fair, but the money is replaced in the bag
and Ffion hands it back. “Go – and take your money with you!”
![]() |
"I'm trying to be fair!" |
![]() |
"Go – and take your money with you!" |
![]() |
Careful, Geth – Madge is watching! |
![]() |
The laptop is unfortunately extinct |
![]() |
"Family is so important, Geth" |
![]() |
Ffion was not expecting him home so soon |
“Garry wasn’t around,” he tells her,
and breaks the news that the laptop cannot be fixed, but he is sure that Hywel can find them another cheap one. She is determined to dwell on the positive – Arwen is all right, and they are all right.
![]() |
"I'm sure he can find us another cheap one" |
![]() |
"I'm booking a holiday in EuroDisney" |
![]() |
"Arwen isn't going to be a child for ever, is she?" |
![]() |
"I've got to go out" |
![]() |
Colin is still immobilised |
![]() |
Mark enjoys the lack of fussing |
Colin remarks that it is amazing what surgeons can do these days,
![]() |
"I should show how grateful I am" |
![]() |
"It's resources they need" |
![]() |
"We could dress up as kidneys" |
![]() |
Ffion is very apologetic |
![]() |
"You were right about the money" |
![]() |
Dani is happy to give her the money . . . |
![]() |
. . . and Ffion hurries home |
Mark says they want something that is cheap but still fun,
and Non suggests doing it on St David’s day. “I’ve got it – throwing leeks!” exclaims Colin, just as Kath returns.
She urges Mark and Non to sit down before they fall over, and instructs Colin that he can go now,
although he is not sure that he can.
![]() |
Colin comes up with throwing leeks |
![]() |
Then Kath starts issuing orders again |
![]() |
"I'm not sure I can go" |
![]() |
"Thank you for your help, Colin!" |
![]() |
He manages to haul himself to his feet |
![]() |
"You two – sit down now!" |
![]() |
Gethin has been looking on his phone at flights |
![]() |
"Val has come into some money" |
![]() |
"You didn't ask her for it, did you?" |
![]() |
"She felt sorry for Arwen" |
![]() |
Gwyneth is still pondering |
![]() |
"The lasagne is nice" |
![]() |
"I want a day off tomorrow" |
![]() |
"Sioned has asked me to visit her" |
![]() |
"After all she did to Ed?" |
Sara wonders why she is sticking up for Sioned, after all that she did to Ed;
“Don’t expect to be paid!” she snarls,
orders a Goat’s Cheese salad from Dan, and then walks away.
Gwyneth dials the number of the Prison Service in Gloucester, and confirms (in English) that she will be visiting prisoner number 5248 tomorrow.
![]() |
"Well, don't expect to get paid!" |
![]() |
"Goat's Cheese salad, please Dan" |
![]() |
"Yes, I will be there" |
