"Sorry if I gave the wrong impression"
Next morning, DJ visits Sara to apologise for any wrong impression he may have given;  “I was only trying to help – I know we had chocolates and a meal,
"Yes. I know, DJ . . ."
“but I was not after anything else.”   Sara appreciates this,
". . . but a few months ago, a businessman tried it on . . ."
and explains that a few months ago a businessman came over to the house, and he tried to take advantage of her.
Only Jason’s return saved her from whatever his intentions were;
". . . just over there"
“That’s why things got a bit awkward last night.   I know you would never take advantage – I was just being stupid.”
DJ assures her that she does not need to apologise,
"I enjoyed looking after Ifan"
and that he enjoyed looking after Ifan last night.   “You’re going to make a good father one day,” she tells him, but he points out that he has to find a girlfriend first.
DJ regards online dating with horror
“Have you ever thought of online dating?” Sara asks, “I’ll help you write a profile, if you like – and I’ll even keep it clean!”
The laptop seems to have seized up
Ffion is having problems with the laptop, and cannot get it to do anything;  Gethin tells her not to worry as they have the appointment details.   “The laptop’s been playing up for ages,” she moans, then calls for Arwen to put on her shoes.
Sheryl is eagerly anticipating 'a bit of the other'
Gethin receives a text from Sheryl, looking forward to seeing him later.
Sioned wants Gwyneth to visit her
In the Deri, Gwyneth also receives a message, this time from HM Prison Service, informing her that Sioned wants her to visit tomorrow;  she wonders what to do.
"Will you have a look at the laptop?"
Just as they are about to leave for the hospital, Ffion sees Hywel, and asks if he will have a look at the laptop.   He enquires if she has thought any more about Moc’s money;
"It won't do any good, keeping secrets"
“It won’t do any good, you know, keeping secrets.”
Kath does not want to leave these two on their own
Kath is complaining that Debbie has gone to the cash and carry again this morning, so she is required in the café.   Mark insists that he and Non will be all right on their own;  Non agrees that they are tougher than they look.
"What if you both passed out?"
Kath demands what would happen if they both passed out at the same time,
"At the same time – for no apparent reason?"
a scenario which they find laughable.
Kath welcomes Colin with open arms
Then Colin arrives in the nick of time, and Kath asks him if he will stay with them while she does a shift in the café.   He is only too willing to help;
"The entertainment has landed!"
“The entertainment has landed!” he announces.
Dani puts £15,000 into a bag
In the Deri flat, Dani loads some bundles of cash into a bag.
Colin's rather 'over the top' charades
Colin amuses the invalids with some charades, one of which they guess to be ‘Ring of Fire’.
Non used to go to Country and Western nights
Non recalls when her Mam took her to Country and Western nights in the community hall.   Then Colin starts on another one, a film, one word;  they guess ‘Godzilla’,
Then Colin's contortions . . .
but then his strenuous efforts
. . . cause his back to go again
cause his back to go again,
He is in considerable pain
and he collapses into the chair in pain.   He tells them that it was supposed to be ‘Jaws’.
There is relief when they return from the appointment
Ffion and Gethin are back home, with Arwen having been given a clean bill of health;  Ffion says she is sorry for being short tempered earlier, and is pleased that Arwen was so good with the doctor.
"Do you think she remembers everything that's happened?"
“Do you think she remembers everything that’s happened to her?” she wonders.
Gethin replies that children get over everything so quickly.
"Not like us old people!"
“Not like us old people – I feel like a wet blanket,” Ffion admits, “I don’t know how she had the energy to go to Mirain’s party.   It’s a shame we can’t go somewhere next week – it would be lovely, just the three of us.”
"Got some money stashed away, have you?"
Gethin asks if she has some money stashed away anywhere, and Ffion looks slightly guilty.   Then he says he has to go back to work;
"I don't want to make Garry angry"
“You know Garry – I don’t want to make him angry, in case he takes it out on Dani.”   The buzzer sounds, and he finds that it is Dani,
"Yes, we're fine – things are getting better"
who enquires how the appointment went, and maintains that things are getting better between her and Garry.   Gethin leaves for the garage.
"Here's your share of the money"
“As you haven’t been in touch,” begins Dani, “Here’s your share of the money.”
"I don't want it – it's Gethin's money!"
Ffion says she does not want it, as it is Gethin’s money, but he would never take it.
"You and Gethin deserve it!"
Dani is insistent that she should have it instead;  “Ffion, you deserve this, and Gethin deserves it.   What Moc did, it almost ruined your relationship – at least this way something good will come of it.
"If he found out, we wouldn't have a relationship!"
Ffion points out that if Gethin found out, they would not have a relationship at all, and she does not want to hide it from him;
"He'll understand, given time"
Dani is confident that he will understand, in time, and that she would be hiding a good thing – not a bad thing.
Sheryl is a sex-crazed beast . . .
Gethin has actually gone to Sheryl’s house, where she can hardly wait to drag him upstairs,
. . . but Gethin is having slight second thoughts
but he frets, “What happens if Hywel comes home?”
She cannot wait to get up there . . .
He is reluctant to follow her upstairs, demanding,
"What happens if they find out?"
“What happens if they find out?   Aren’t you worried about that?”
She replies that no-one will find out;  “We are being careful!”
"Do you want to end it, then?"
He is still hesitant, so she kisses him again, and asks if he wants to end it.
It seems that he is not all that reluctant
He says that he cannot, and they both disappear upstairs.
"Why are you so keen to get rid of it?"
Ffion tells Dani she cannot understand why she is so desperate to get rid of the money;
"Because half belongs to Gethin"
“Because half of it belongs to Gethin,” is the reply.   Ffion warns that she may need it in the future, as she does not know what will happen between her and Garry.   Once more, Dani insists that they will be fine.
“Why are you putting me in this position?” demands Ffion, “It’s not fair!”
"I'm trying to be fair!"
Dani protests that she is trying to be fair, but the money is replaced in the bag
"Go – and take your money with you!"
and Ffion hands it back.   “Go – and take your money with you!”
Careful, Geth – Madge is watching!
Gethin emerges from the door of Sheryl’s house, and notices Hywel coming towards him;
The laptop is unfortunately extinct
he gives back the laptop, which is unfortunately beyond help.   Hywel asks about Arwen,
"Family is so important, Geth"
adding that family is so important, and Gethin returns home to Cysgod y Glyn,
Ffion was not expecting him home so soon
where Ffion is wondering whether she made the right decision.
“Garry wasn’t around,” he tells her,
"I'm sure he can find us another cheap one"
and breaks the news that the laptop cannot be fixed, but he is sure that Hywel can find them another cheap one.   She is determined to dwell on the positive – Arwen is all right, and they are all right.
"I'm booking a holiday in EuroDisney"
“And we are going to enjoy ourselves in Paris,” he announces, “I’m booking a holiday in EuroDisney – I’ve got some savings, and I’ll work overtime.
"Arwen isn't going to be a child for ever, is she?"
“Arwen isn’t going to be a child for ever, is she?   We need a break, Ffi – family is important. Shall we have a look now – I’ve seen a few good deals online.”
"I've got to go out"
Ffion suddenly remembers that she has to go out for a minute.
Colin is still immobilised
At Maes-y-Deri, Colin is feeling awful, as the two invalids are looking after him;  Mark does not feel too bad.

Mark enjoys the lack of fussing
“It’s nice to stretch my legs without Debs and Mam fussing!”
Colin remarks that it is amazing what surgeons can do these days,
"I should show how grateful I am"
and Mark feels that he should be showing them how grateful he is.
"It's resources they need"
Non says that it is resources they need, and Colin comes up with the idea of fundraising for the transplant unit;
"We could dress up as kidneys"
“We could dress up as kidneys,” he suggests, “And have a steak and kidney pie stall!”   Mark wonders if it is just his back that Colin has injured, but Non says that it is wacky ideas which work.
Ffion is very apologetic
Ffion arrives at the Deri flat in apologetic mood, pointing out that it has been a difficult day;
"You were right about the money"
“You were right about the money – Gethin does you deserve it, but he would never take it.   So I will have to take it for him – if you still want that.”
Dani is happy to give her the money . . .
Dani is only too happy to do so,
. . . and Ffion hurries home
and actually smiles as Ffion leaves with the money.
Mark says they want something that is cheap but still fun,
Colin comes up with throwing leeks
and Non suggests doing it on St David’s day.   “I’ve got it – throwing leeks!” exclaims Colin, just as Kath returns.
Then Kath starts issuing orders again
She urges Mark and Non to sit down before they fall over, and instructs Colin that he can go now,
"I'm not sure I can go"
although he is not sure that he can.
"Thank you for your help, Colin!"
In the face of Kath’s continuing insistence,
He manages to haul himself to his feet
he painfully gets up from the chair and staggers towards the door;  he is confident of recovering by tomorrow.
"You two – sit down now!"
Kath orders the two invalids to sit down immediately.
Gethin has been looking on his phone at flights
Gethin tells Ffion that he had, “A quick look while you were out – and there are relatively cheap flights if we book them today.”
"Val has come into some money"
Ffion lies that she has just had a strange phone call from Val;  “She’s come into some money unexpectedly, and is insisting on paying for the holiday.”
"You didn't ask her for it, did you?"
Gethin wonders if Ffion asked her for the money, but is told that it was a total coincidence;
"She felt sorry for Arwen"
“She felt sorry for Arwen, and wanted to do something nice for us.”
Gwyneth is still pondering
At the bar in the Deri, Gwyneth looks again at the request for her to visit Sioned.   Sara comes in and asks to look at the menu;
"The lasagne is nice"
Gwyneth recommends the lasagne, but Sara is watching the calories.
"I want a day off tomorrow"
Then Gwyneth gets to the point – that she wants a day off tomorrow, and promises that she will work late next week.
"Sioned has asked me to visit her"
“Sioned has asked me to visit her everyone deserves a second chance – and she regrets everything.”
"After all she did to Ed?"
Sara wonders why she is sticking up for Sioned, after all that she did to Ed;
"Well, don't expect to get paid!"
“Don’t expect to be paid!”  she snarls,
"Goat's Cheese salad, please Dan"
orders a Goat’s Cheese salad from Dan, and then walks away.
"Yes, I will be there"
Gwyneth dials the number of the Prison Service in Gloucester, and confirms (in English) that she will be visiting prisoner number 5248 tomorrow.
