"You can employ anyone you like"
Dani comes to the Deri and apologises to Garry for what happened yesterday;  “You can serve and employ anyone you like – the Deri is nothing to do with me from now on.   But we should make an effort to get on for Carol’s sake.”
"Yes, that's what I want"
Sheryl is listening in to this conversation, as Garry replies that he wants the same thing.   Dani will text him with a list of possible times.
Then she goes to sit with Sheryl, and says they have to try and get along for Carol’s sake.
"I notice he didn't apologise to you"
“I notice that he didn’t apologise to you!” comments Sheryl, “You’re not happy that he has employed Sioned, are you?”   Dani says there is not much she can do about it.
Gethin and Ffion are back from Paris
Then Gethin and Ffion come in, after their weekend in Paris, reporting that Arwen has gone to school to show off her princess costume.   “We had a lovely time,” Ffion tells them, “And Arwen loved it – Geth had to go on the Dumbo ride with her at least three times!”
"A present – for me?"
She hands Garry a present from Arwen, a pair of Mickey Mouse ears, and Gethin insists that he puts on, as she wants a photo.
Garry's impression of a mouse
Garry puts on his best mouse expression,
He appears quite jovial
and seems to be in a good mood, as he says that Gethin does not have to start work right away.
"You won't say anything to Gethin, will you?"
As Ffion and Gethin go to find a table, Dani asks Garry, “You won’t say anything, will you?   To Gethin about the money?”
"So that's why you came here"
“So that’s why you came here – to apologise because Gethin’s back!” he sneers.
"Why can't I eat in my room?"
Hannah is still angry;  “I don’t know why you won’t let me eat in my room,” she moans, “Are you worried that I’m going to smuggle Chester in or something?”
"I don't know what you do on your phones these days"
Diane replies that she does not know what they do on their phones these days.   “Just talking,” is the reply,
"You and Uncle David should talk more often!"
“Something you and Uncle David should do more often!”
"You need to learn some respect, madam!"
Diane says that she needs to learn some respect, but Hannah maintains that it works both ways, and then is about to return to school,
"You're going back to school in the car
but Diane insists on taking her in the car, as she does not want her walking with Chester.
Kelly cooks risotto
Kelly is cooking a meal when Colin comes visiting, and says that her risotto smells good.
"When are Siôn and Anita coming back?"
“When are Siôn and Anita coming back?” he asks, and is told that it is sometime this week.   “I was hoping that Siôn would be back in time to help with the leek throwing competition tomorrow, with it being St David’s Day.”
"Oh – St David's Day!"
Kelly suddenly decides that she has to go out, immediately,
"Can you cook risotto, Col?"
and Ed asks Colin if he knows how to cook risotto, which of course he does not.   Colin has to go and search for sponsors.
"You could have let me know you were back"
In the Deri, Gethin goes to the bar for more drinks, and happens to be standing next to Sheryl, who says that she had better get back to work.   “You could have let me know you were back today,” she scolds him, “Can I see you later?”
"I have only just got home"
He points out that he has just come back from holiday, and cannot just walk out to see her.
"You haven't had any problems before!"
“You haven’t had any problems before,” she protests, and then leaves.
Gethin invents another fable
Ffion has been watching their conversation, and he lies that it was about the fact she has scratched Hywel’s car and wanted him to sort it out.
'It's so unfair, Chester!"
Hannah is in tears in a classroom;  “It’s so unfair – she says we’re childish – she doesn’t understand how we feel!”
"She can't stop us seeing each other!"
Chester replies that Diane cannot stop them seeing each other after school, and she was gutted when she was ordered out of the school.   “How much longer is this going on, Chest?” she demands, “I want to be with you!”
"No-one is going to spoil what we have!"
He assures her that neither Diane nor anyone else is going to spoil what they have,
"Chester, where are you going?"
and he slips away to organise something.
"Do you want to take her for a walk?"
Dani comes into the Deri with Carol in her pram;  “I thought you would like to take her for a walk,” she suggests, “I’ll watch the bar for you.”
"You're keeping me out of Gethin's way"
He wonders if this has anything to do with trying to keep him out of Gethin’s way.   “Do you want to take her or not?” she demands,
He is keen to go out with his daughter
and he immediately puts on his coat.
Kelly comes rushing back to number 10, and Ed comments that he hopes she likes her risotto hard;  she is desperate for the toilet and disappears upstairs.
Ed finds a little girl's dress
He looks at what she has bought – a little girl’s dress – and is puzzled.
"Just think of the publicity for APD"
In the café, Colin points out to Diane the publicity which would be gained by APD if they sponsored the main prize in the leek throwing;
"That's not why we are here!"
she points out that the reason they are there is to decide what to do about Hannah and Chester.   He thinks that they have been punished enough;
Colin proposes a compromise

“I see them looking so miserable – what if we let them see each other for . . . an hour every other day?”

"Is there anyone living upstairs?"
They hear a sound from above;  “Is there anyone living upstairs?” asks Diane, and Colin thought the flat was empty.
Gwen is concerned . . .
Gwen is also looking concerned,
. . . so Colin arms himself with a frying pan . . .
so Colin arms himself with a frying pan from the kitchen,
. . . and goes to investigate
and proceeds up the stairs, promising to sort it out.
They are caught, almost in flagranté
They find Hannah and Chester, enjoying some peace together, and Diane is furious;
Hannah readjusts her apparel
And you wanted to give them another chance!” she rages at Colin.
"I hope you're decent now, you two!"
She demands how they got in, then someone comes upstairs, saying, “I hope you’re decent now, you two!”   Ricky is rather embarrassed to find Diane and Colin there.
"I'm not half-naked!"
“If he hadn’t let you in, you wouldn’t be half-naked!” shouts Diane.
"If you hadn't stopped us seeing each other . . ."
Chester points out that if she had not stopped them seeing each other, they would not have been here.
"You're coming home with me"
Diane confiscates Hannah’s phone and escorts her home, vowing to also remove her laptop.
Colin also appears to be in on this
Chester obviously planned this meeting with Colin’s help.
"Guess how much it costs to raise a child"
Ed returns from a run, and is asked by Kelly, “Guess how much it costs to raise a child in the UK.”
"I don't know"
She informs him that the answer is £230,000, and he says that it is enough to put people off.
"You can't put a price on something so amazing"
She explains, “People don’t think of the cost if they want children – if you want a child, you want a child – you can’t put a price on something so amazing.”
Ed sees problems ahead
He looks worried.
Sheryl is back at the Deri
In the Deri, Sheryl returns and says she would like to hear more about Ffions and Gethins holiday.
"Carol is fast asleep"
Garry comes back from his walk with Carol.
"I know about your big secret!"
Sheryl looks rather anxious when Ffion says, “I know about your big secret – Gethin told me.”
"Er, when you scratched Hywel's car"
Gethin explains that he told Ffion that she had scratched Hywel’s car.
Sheryl would love to take Esther to Disneyland one day.   “It must be expensive – I’d have to win some money to afford to go.”   Gethin says that they are grateful to Val for giving them the money.
"You should take Carol home"
Garry interrupts to recommend that Dani should take Carol home, as a pub is not a place for a baby.   Ffion says that they have to leave too, as they are picking up Arwen.
"I won't tell anyone"
Garry asks Dani if she is worried that he will reveal her secret;  she tells him not to torment her, and he replies that he will not tell anyone.   Sheryl is disappointed that Gethin is leaving and urges him to have one more drink with her.
"We're on our own – at last"
“We’re on our own – at last,” she tells him, and he asks what her game is;
"I'm not the one playing happy families"
“I’m not the one playing happy families at Disneyland Paris,” she answers.   He points out that she has a family, too,
"Let's go to the garage"
but she is keen to accompany him to the garage.
"It's too much of a risk!"
He says that it is too much of a risk, but she is insistent, “Geth, Ive missed you – I want you!”
Gethin accuses her of being drunk, and wishes she had not bothered;
Garry is keeping an eye on his customers
he gets up and goes over to the bar, carefully watched by Garry.
"I'm going over to Y Felin"
Ed says that he is going over to Y Felin, to check everything is OK before Siôn comes home.   She argues that he does not have to go tonight, then demands what is wrong.
"What's wrong, Ed?"
“Tell me what it is, or I shall worry!”
"It's too soon to have a baby"
He admits that he does not want a baby;  “I’m not ready – we’ve only just started dating – it’s too soon to have a baby.”   She replies that they are not having a baby – perhaps sometime in the future, but not now.
"That dress is for a baby"
“What about that dress you bought?   That’s for a baby,” he goes on,
"Yes – it's for Greta"
but she replies that it is for Greta, for St Davids Day.
"Oops – I'm an idiot!"
He concludes that he is an idiot, and Kelly agrees, but adds that she loves him;
"You're not going to Y Felin, are you?"
“So you’re not going to Y Felin, are you?” she says, and he confirms that he is not going anywhere.
"You need to sort out your nephew!"
Diane marches into the Deri;  “You need to sort out your nephew,” she informs Garry, “I’ve just caught him and Hannah in the flat above the café.   I don’t need to explain to you, of all people, what they were doing.
"Britt's away and colin is useless!"
“Sort him out, because Britt’s away and Colin is useless!”
Garry chuckles
He grins as she walks away again.
Then Garry advises Sheryl she should go home and sleep off that wine;
"You men are all the same!"
she grumbles, “You men are all the same – you insult us, use us to get what you want, then treat us like dirt.   Look at the way you’ve treated Dani today!   Do you think she’s happy that you’ve given Sioned a job?”
"He's given a job to the woman who wrecked their marriage"
This comes as a surprise to Gethin;  “Yes, your brother in law has given a job to the woman who wrecked their marriage,” Dani continues, “Nice, isn’t it?”   Garry tells her it is time she left, and she does so .
"You could have sorted this out!"
Gethin is angry;  “How would you feel if Danny had given Mathew building work?   I don’t understand you – if you hadn’t been so determined to punish Dani, you could have sorted this out!”
"Since when are you such an expert?"
“Since when are you such an expert?” Garry retaliates,
"I'm making a better job of it than you!"
and Gethin says at least he is making a better job of it than Garry.   “All is well, it it?” Garry taunts him,
"Remind me, where did the money come from?"
“Everyone is being totally honest with each other, are they?   Remind me, Geth, where did the money come from to pay for the holiday in France?   Val you said – are you sure?
"It came from Moc!"
“It came from Moc!   Dani  inherited money from Moc, and she gave half of it to Ffion.   That’s what paid for the perfect holiday in Paris!”
Gethin does not believe it
Gethin is quite incredulous, but Garry assures him that it is the truth;  as Gethin is about to storm out, Garry stops him
Garry places a bottle in front of him
and puts a bottle of spirits on the bar in front of him.
